Good case, bad fit. Bring back the Peacekeepers.

"On a short bed pick-up the case can't be opened when it is in the drawer. So it is a great place to store a case and drive around, doesn't move, etc. When you get to where you are going, remove the case and walk around with it. But if you want to transport the contents of the case to an event where you need to get to the contents you have to unload the whole case from the drawer, then open it, then remove the contents, then put if back in the drawer, close the drawer and secure it before you can do whatever you were planning on doing. Just make a Peacekeeper for the new drawer system. I'll buy them the same day."

Bought the honcho 80 initially

"Bought the honcho 80 initially for guns, it would have to much unusable space. I decided to put tools instead. Once the honcho 80 is in, you lose access to the rest of the drawer. You can access the rest if you take it out but if its loaded with tools its somewhat heavy. Mine came bowed in the center and i couldnt get it shut unless i took it out and pulled the handle which was a pain. Im in the warranty process which was simple. We will see if the new one is usable soon. I think i would do 2 32’s now that i know the gun idea wasnt working."

Heads up on fitment

"I recently purchased a honcho for a 2024 5. 5 ft quad cab f150. The honcho cannot be opened while in the drawer it is about 2 inches to long to clear decked when fully opened. . Unable to open unless you remove the honcho. , not convenient and prevents easy access. If you want access you must fully remove honcho and getting unit back in is a challenge. Love the concept but a serious no go for a 5. 5 ft bed unless you want to wrestle it to gain access."
