2. Set the springs in place. From the front face of the drawer, insert the springs into the cavities on either side of the handle slots. Red spring = right side.

3. Secure the springs with clevis pins. Insert a clevis pin through each outer drawer hole and through the spring to hold it in place.
Do not push the pin through the second hole yet. If it’s tight, lightly tap the clevis pin to help it start threading through.

4. Install the handle. With the DECKED logo facing outward, slide the handle ends in behind the spring arms.
Hook the spring arms into the handle notches, then rotate the handle arms toward the clevis pins. This action will pull the spring arms down and load tension into the springs.

5. Lock everything together. Once the handle hole aligns with the clevis pin, push the pin through the handle and into the inner drawer hole. Repeat on the other side.
If needed, lightly tap with a hammer to fully seat the pin.

6.Finish with hair pins. Install a hair pin into each clevis pin to lock everything in place. Test the handle to make sure it moves smoothly and snaps back with tension.
